Josephson dc Current through T-Shaped Double-Quantum-Dots Hybridized to Majorana Nanowires

چکیده
We study quantum interference effects on Josephson current in T-shaped double dots (TDQDs) with one of them (the central dot) is sandwiched between the left and right topological superconductor nanowires hosting Majorana bound states (MBSs). find that current’s magnitude suppressed by inter-dot coupling induces effect, unchanged jump at particular phase difference two from which effect arises. The remains as a sinusoidal function respective to presence but significant reduction. broad peak curve versus QDs’ levels are split different ways depending configurations latter. also impacts non-z-axial direction magnetic field, bending angle direct hybridization amplitude MBSs all depend arrangement energy levels.

Josephson current in strongly correlated double quantum dots.
We study the Josephson current through a serial double quantum dot and the associated 0-π transitions which result from the subtle interplay between the superconductivity, the Kondo physics, and the interdot superexchange interaction. The competition between them is examined by tuning the relative strength Δ/T(K) of the superconducting gap and the Kondo temperature, for different strengths of t...
متن کاملNon-Equilibrium Josephson and Andreev Current through Interacting Quantum Dots
We present a theory of transport through interacting quantum dots coupled to normal and superconducting leads in the limit of weak tunnel coupling. A Josephson current between two superconducting leads, carried by first-order tunnel processes, can be established by non-equilibrium proximity effect. Both Andreev and Josephson current is suppressed for bias voltages below a threshold set by the C...
متن کاملProbing Spin States of Coupled Quantum dots by dc Josephson Current
We propose an idea for probing spin states of two coupled quantum dots (CQD), by the dc Josephson current flowing through them. This theory requires weak coupling between CQD and electrodes, but allows arbitrary inter-dot tunnel coupling, intraand interdot Coulomb interactions. We find that the Coulomb blockade peaks exhibit a non-monotonous dependence on the Zeeman splitting of CQD, which can ...

We study charge transport through a topological superconductor with a pair of Majorana end states coupled to leads via quantum dots with resonant levels. The nonlocality of the Majorana bound states opens the possibility of crossed Andreev reflection with nonlocal shot noise due to the injection of an electron into one end of the superconductor followed by the emission of a hole at the other en...
متن کاملElectron transport through double quantum dots
Electron transport experiments on two lateral quantum dots coupled in series are reviewed. An introduction to the charge stability diagram is given in terms of the electrochemical potentials of both dots. Resonant tunneling experiments show that the double dot geometry allows for an accurate determination of the intrinsic lifetime of discrete energy states in quantum dots. The evolution of disc...
